About the Game

Brisca LatAm is Latin American Tute, the Spanish trick-taking classic played with the 40-card Spanish deck. Deal eight cards head to head or the whole deck in 2v2 teams, sing the cantes and race to the target score. The big hands turn declarations and the four-king tute into real threats.

Basic Rules

1. 1Played with a 40-card Spanish deck: 2 players head to head or 4 in teams.
2. 2With two players each gets 8 cards; the trump is turned up and slid under the 23-card stock.
3. 3With four players all 40 cards are dealt, 10 each, and the trump is the dealer's last card.
4. 4While the stock lasts you may play any card; after each trick the winner draws first.
5. 5When the stock runs out the arrastre begins: follow suit, beat when you can, trump when void.
6. 6Declare cante 20 (King + Knight of the same suit) or cante 40 (the trump suit) after winning a trick.
7. 7Capturing all four Kings or all four Knights (tute) wins the partida instantly.
8. 8Point cards: Ace (11), Two (10), King (4), Knight (3), Jack (2); the last trick adds a 10-point bonus.
9. 9Rounds are played until a player or team reaches the target score (101).
