About the Game
Escoba is a classic Italian and Spanish card game where the goal is to capture cards from the table that sum to 15. With simple rules but strategic depth, it rewards mathematical thinking and card counting.

Basic Rules
- 1Played with a 40-card Spanish or Italian deck.
- 2Each player receives 3 cards; 4 cards are placed on the table.
- 3On your turn, play a card to capture table cards that sum to 15.
- 4If no capture is possible, place your card on the table.
- 5Capturing all table cards in one play is an "escoba" (sweep) — worth 1 extra point.
- 6When hands are empty, deal 3 more cards to each player.
- 7Points: most cards (1), most golds/diamonds (1), seven of golds (1), most sevens (1), each escoba (1).
- 8The first player or team to reach the target score wins.
