About the Game

Carioca is a rummy-style card game popular in Chile and South America. Players complete specific combinations across multiple rounds, from simple trios to complex sequences. A social game of skill and adaptation.

Basic Rules

1. 1Played with two standard 52-card decks plus jokers.
2. 2The game consists of 7 rounds with different required combinations.
3. 3Round 1: Two trios. Round 2: One trio and one straight of four.
4. 4Players draw and discard to form the required combination.
5. 5Jokers and twos are wild cards that substitute any card.
6. 6Once you complete the round's requirement, you can "go down" and play remaining cards.
7. 7Points from cards left in hand are penalties.
8. 8The player with the lowest total score after 7 rounds wins.
