About the Game

Chinchón is the Spanish rummy classic for 2 to 4 players, played with the 40-card Spanish deck. Draw, discard and build runs and sets until your unmatched cards are worth five points or less, then close the round before your rivals manage to.

Basic Rules

1. 1Played with a 40-card Spanish deck; each player is dealt seven cards.
2. 2On your turn draw one card from the deck or the discard pile, then discard one.
3. 3Melds are runs of three or more cards in a suit, or sets of the same rank.
4. 4Close the round when your unmelded cards add up to five points or less.
5. 5Numbered cards score face value; Sota, Caballo and Rey are worth ten each.
6. 6Players are knocked out at 100 points, and a seven-card run wins outright.
