About the Game

Rummikub is a tile-based game combining elements of rummy and mahjong. Arrange numbered tiles into runs and groups, manipulate existing sets on the table, and be the first to play all your tiles.

Basic Rules

1. 1Each player draws 14 tiles from a pool of 106 tiles (numbers 1-13 in 4 colors, plus 2 jokers).
2. 2On your first play, you must place sets totaling at least 30 points.
3. 3Valid sets: runs of 3+ consecutive numbers in the same color, or groups of 3-4 same numbers in different colors.
4. 4After your initial meld, you can add to existing sets or rearrange tiles on the table.
5. 5If you cannot play, draw one tile from the pool.
6. 6Jokers substitute any tile but can be replaced by the tile they represent.
7. 7The first player to place all their tiles wins.
8. 8Other players subtract the sum of their remaining tiles as penalty points.
