About the Game

Chess Challenge is a competitive puzzle mode where two or more players solve the same set of 10 chess mate-in-N puzzles simultaneously. Race to solve puzzles faster and more accurately than your opponents to earn the highest score.

Basic Rules

1. 1Both players receive the same 10 chess puzzles in the same order. Choose difficulty and mate type (mate-in-1 through mate-in-5) before starting.
2. 2Each puzzle presents a chess position where you must find the winning sequence of moves that leads to checkmate.
3. 3You have 3 wrong moves allowed per puzzle. On your 4th mistake, you fail that puzzle and move to the next one.
4. 4If you fail 5 puzzles in a row (consecutive failures), you are immediately eliminated from the game.
5. 5You can skip a puzzle at any time, but it counts as a failure toward your consecutive failure streak.
6. 6Score is based on puzzle difficulty, accuracy (no mistakes bonus), speed (under 30 seconds bonus), and puzzle rating.
7. 7The winner is the player with the highest total score. In case of a tie, the player with the fastest total solve time wins.
