About the Game

Checkers (Draughts) is a classic two-player strategy game played on an 8x8 board. Move diagonally, jump to capture, and crown your pieces to gain advantage. Simple to learn, satisfying to master.

Basic Rules

1. 1Played on the dark squares of an 8x8 board.
2. 2Each player starts with 12 pieces on their side.
3. 3Pieces move diagonally forward one square at a time.
4. 4Capture by jumping over an adjacent opponent piece to an empty square.
5. 5Multiple jumps in one turn are allowed (and mandatory if available).
6. 6A piece reaching the far row becomes a King and can move backward.
7. 7The player who captures all opponent pieces or blocks all moves wins.
