Basic Rules
- 1Each player has 15 checkers placed on a board of 24 narrow triangles (points).
- 2Players alternate turns, rolling two dice to determine movement.
- 3Checkers move forward toward the player's home board according to die values.
- 4A point occupied by two or more opponent checkers is blocked — you cannot land there.
- 5A single opponent checker on a point (a "blot") can be hit and sent to the bar.
- 6Checkers on the bar must re-enter before any other move is made.
- 7Once all 15 checkers are in your home board, you may begin bearing off.
- 8The first player to bear off all checkers wins the game.
